You have not mentioned if there is any gap between the edges and the trees?
It is like this na? :■:
Ans: 1. Remove All Water.
2. Measure height of Swimming pool.
3. Now dig the swimming pool further down 3 times the actual height.
4. i.e if original height was 10m then after digging further new height will
be 40m, i.e. Swimming pool gets expand 4 times the original one but at downword direction

and by extending each of the lines of the square thrice you will not expand it by 4 times but by 16 times.
It is very simple we have trees only in corners.
And it is not given that the final pool must be square shaped so will extent the pool as a 4m x 1m pool. Where there is no need to remove trees but we can't have all the trees in corner (at max only two trees can be in corner

take a = 1 m as the side of the squre.
now the area of the existing pool is 1sq.mt.
to get the pool 4times more, add an equilateral traingle each side of the square, now the trees come in the middle of the sides.
length of a side now = 2 mts.
area = 4 sq. mts.

length of the side is not equal to 2, length of the side becomes square root of 2(daigonal of original square) and the area becomes 2 sq.mts.
we can make the swimming fool 2 times, still keeping it square and without cutting trees.
Its immposible to make it 4 times!!!!!!!!!! question it self is wrong
