Re: Find out the code.....
Count the number of letters in each combinations (unique occurences)... if the letter repeats then count as 1
For eg:
XML + XSLT = 5
Here X occurs twice but count is 1, Same L occurs twice count is 1
X - 1
M - 1
L - 1
S - 1
T - 1
Total - 5
Thanks
Manoj

Re: Find out the code.....
Excuse me..it should be letters not words!!
And it does not depend on twice or thrice or number of occurrence.
Sum depends on every unique letter.

Re: Find out the code.....
If the question like this
XML + XSLT = 5
XPATH + XPOINTER = 10
RSS + ATOM = 7
XINCLUDE + RELAXNG = 11
Then what is
XHTML + MATHML = ?
The answer is 10.
Solution: Remove the letter X and N in each sentence and count the number of letters. If we remove the X and N then it look like..
ML + SLT = 5
PATH + POITER =10
RSS + ATOM =7
ICLUDE + RELAG =11
