Find the area of a largest semicircle in a unit square?
Find the area of a largest semicircle in a unit square?
The largest possible radius is 0.5
Hence largest possible semicircle will have area
= pi*r^2
= 3.142*1/4
= 0.7855 (or in other words pi/4)
Cheers!

Someone says "Impossible is nothing". The man next him says "Let me see you licking your elbow tip!"
but if the problem was that too simple I wudnt hve asked dat...radius is greater than .5 !!

it is largest semicircle and not circle.
so radius can be one
:)
NEVER SAY DIE.
Its largest semicircle!!!!!!!
No part of semicircle shud go out of square
And the radius of largest semicircle is not .5!!!
Think more!!!
Initially i want formula for calculating semicircle area.
I checked in a google and i got your question and answer.
Now tell me once you know the answer then how you work out your own way?
