hi
1,2,3,6,4,5,6,60,5,6,7,....?

NEVER SAY DIE.
[think the answer is 70.
next number is 8.
Solution:
1,2,3-multiply 6/1=6.
4,5,6-multiply 4*5*6=120/2=60
5,6,7-multiply 5*6*7=210/3=70..
I guess this.. but not very sure as to why the second set after 4,5,6,60 started again with 5.If we follow thta,., thenext number colud be 7 or 5!

No raju..........your answer is wrong...
See the title "find the next two number". it means its not a mathematical series. it's end with last two numebr..so find which contains 13 parts...
For example week contains 7 days...vowels contains 5 letters...year contains 12 months....

suresh
no ans is not 70
:)
NEVER SAY DIE.
is it 600 and 8
sorry suresh
It is series question only! It was asked in satyam 's paper ,held at cochin (November 14).May be the title i have given is wrong , but they asked to find two numbers after this.
Iam sure of first munber but not the second one !
so i asked it!

Hey shenoy u told u r also not sure abt the second number how can i know the answer... atleast some clues...
hi.. i agree wid manoj,
give some clue shenoy...
hi dont worry abt the second number! since i dont know the sec number , so whose answer best fits into the series, will be right!(infact ,i also want to know the sec number, so asked)
explain ur ans with explanation.
I know the first number(almost sure its right, since i have confirmed it from others).
but i dont know the second number!
If u get some clues tell me.Infact i made a mistake.I should have rather told every1 that i am not sure of the ans.(Infact i posted it in search of answer)

Hey Shenoy i got 70, 210 and 600 as the first number... Which one is your answer for first number... Still trying for second number...

hi manoj
ya, first number is 210. But not sure of second number. If you get some good answer with valid explanation then let me know.
By the way its nice that you didnot forget about this question(Infact i forgot).
Thanks for your dedication!

NEVER SAY DIE.
hi nikhil
i dont know the second one. I have told this in my previous posts itself(PLEASE READ MY PREVIOUS POSTS)!So i wanted to know the answer with some valid explanation!
Infact my friend bought SOLVED(only answers) PAPERS of various recruiting companies.
When he bought , he found this question. It was told their that it was asked in Satyam paper. He asked me, but i had no clue about the second number. But what i found strange was that they didnot gave the answer of second number!
So i thought, its better to ask in this community, where there are many brilliant members, who are capable of solving the toughest questions. So probably they may have the answer.
But iam creating no suspense!

NEVER SAY DIE.
Answer is 600
cause
1,2,3 ,6,
4,5,6 ,60,
5,6,7 ,600?
right
Hi Kumaran,
First number may also be 600... But the problem over here is 2nd number...
My answer for first number is 210...
Thanks
Manoj
Hi, i think the answer will be 70 and 8 solution
for 1st number: (1*2*3)/1=6
(4*5*6)/2=60
(5*6*7)/3=70 for second number ((1+2+3)-4)*3=6
((4+5+6)-5)*6=60
((5+6+7)-8)*7=70 so answer is 8... Add three numbers then subtract it by first number in the next set and multiply by last number in the current set... My god very good puzzle... Really teasing... Thanks
manoj
Hi Shenoy,
Tell me whether my solution is correct or not...
Thanks
Manoj
Hi manoj,
Even I thought in similar line and posted it earlier.. But shenaoy said it was not the right answer.. Please refer to my prev post in page 1.

But Raju,
Since everyone dont know the second number thats y shenoy told ur answer is wrong... even i thought like that... but ur answer gave me a clue to find the second number... i think ur answer is telling only about the first number not the second number... anyway credit for finding first number is urs... Good work Raju.
Thanks
Manoj
Thanks manoj
But even i ended up with 8 as the answer first and then realised that was wrong. But is the series coming correctly???
