Script not coming in action

I am working on loadrunner 8.0. i am working on website testing. while i am recording website then script is not coming in action means script is not generating. what should i do?

what protocol your using in load runner to generate script?

did you select web (HTTP/HTML) and selected single protocol. sometimes load runner doesn't generate script if you select single protocol. select multi protocol, even if you are selecting only web. Please let me know if it works.
