    Approved Version

    When was the first ANSI approved version of COBOl came into existence.I faced this question in a quiz program. I could not give the correct answer. Can someone let me know thw answer for the same.

    The first ANSI Approved Version of COBOl came into existence in 1968.But the first Standard COBOL came in 1961.
