data driven tests - incomplete population

    Hi,

I little problem I'm having running a data driven test. I'm populating some client details screen on an application being tested. It works fairly well but I'm finding that sometimes it doesn't complete filling in certain fields when running through the test. In any particular run, it will complete a reference field complely for one set of input, fill in some for another or even just leave it blank for another even thought the data source fields are complete

It's as though winrunner is too fast sometimes and hasn't got enough time to fill in a number before moving onto the next field.

    Any clues how to solve?

    Hi,

The easiest solution is to introduce a small amount of wait() time after each field population.

This would give Winrunner time to pick up the next value from ddt_table and populate all fields...

    Cheers....

Using the Wait() function time after each field population
