Can you use INSPECT command under CICS? Is it costly?

yes, we can use the INSPECT verb in cobol+cics program. its very usefull command to find the count of characters and replace the particular charachters.

the INSPECT TALLYING clause in COBOL can be used in an effective manner to get the count of characters and also to replace with the required character of spaces as required.
