    Changing actions on new data

I have recorded my actions in the QTP and tried playback for the same data, it worked. But when I changed the data and tried executing the same script on same object, it still does the actions on the first data provided while recorded.
Can anyone suggest me what can be done?

depends on the data what u r providing the objects properties are changing. Please check the object properties for different sets of data. If properties are changing then u have to apply the regular expression concepts to object properties.

It will be better if you can provide Screen shot of error you are facing. Error only appears if the description of particular recorded object has been changed.

    Thanks

    Hi Guest,

Are you talking about the properties of the Object getting changed / not recognized for every run OR you mean the parameterized data remains the same for every iteration.

Incase parameterized data is not working properly check if your looping constraints is proper. Please do check the For....Next loop implementation.

    Cheers.......
