Hi ! Frist of all you should explore the Tool. Its good that you have gained access of QTP. Trust me not many people are that lucky. First of all try to learnt he basics like how to extract data from an EXCEL file or import data from outside while executing the scripts. In the beginning you will make Vanilla flavours i.e the most basic scripts but don worry soon u will get to know how to improve its quality. Try making scripts via descriptive prog. as it will help you get a feel of how tool works actually and many things about the object repository. Then try to exlore different properties and functions that you can use while making the scripts. Like exist......
Definitely a user manual will help you like anythn. If not pls. let us know we will send u some.................
