Thread: Automate MS Outlook Operations using QTP?

Hi

I am working with Thinderbird and want to check that the mails sent bby application are receivable on thinderbird. i s there any solution to this, by coding or better if i could check it over GUI, as of now QTP is not able to recognize thinderbird window.

I need your help on automating the outlook using QTP 11. we have addin for Outlook and need to automated the outlook application along with our addin. can you please give some tips to recognise the Outlook objects.

There is no need to get the outlook objects recognized to automate outlook. You can use the Outlook Object Model to perform various outlook actions using VBScript/QTP. The below link shows various examples on how we can automate outlook using QTP.
