Re: Try solving this tricky number Series

in my view it should be 266 i.e.
    the series 2,10,42,130,?
    2
    2*5+0 = 10
    10*4+2 = 42
    42*3+4 = 130
    130*2+6 = 266

Re: Try solving this tricky number Series

    hi...
    2,10,42,130,?

i got the answer as 642...
    1+2^1=2
    2+2^3=10
    10+2^5=42
    42+2^7=130
    so
130+2^9 must be equal to 642...
