what is difference between refuse and rejected status in test diector
and after execution why * comes what is the meaning of that

When a new defect is raised by a QA tester the status is "New". Then the defect will be analyzed by the business triage team, and they will perform the reviewing task in the status "Under Review". The business triage team may either accept the defect and change the status to "Open" or they can reject the defect.

The defect may be rejected either by any of the following reasons:
1. Not clear understanding of the requirements
2. Functionality not tested properly
3. Defect wrongly created
4. Defect not mapped correctly to the respective requirement

When a new defect is raised by a QA tester the status is "New". Then the defect will be analyzed by the business triage team, and they will perform the reviewing task in the status "Under Review". Other than accepting or rejecting the defect, it may also be refused. This will happen when the defect was raised for the requirement that is going to be tested in the future builds. In this case, the defect will be retested after the requirement is coded and released to deployment. Once the build is deployed the status will change from refused to open. If the same problem exists after the code upgrade, the defect status will be changed to Reopen otherwise the status will be rejected or closed.
