Thread: java source file into byte code

Is javac a command to complie the java source file into byte code OR it is the name of the compiler available with JDK ?

This is s.Shekar.i am not expert in java,eventhough i know little bit abt java.when your source code is compile with help of javac(which means java compiler) convert your source into byte code.which is in the .class file.

Javac command converts the source code to byte code.

javac is JAVA Compiler.

Javac converts source code into byte code
