    A is richer than B. C is richer than A. D is richer than C and E is the richest of all. If the above is followed and if they are all made to sit as per the above degree of richness then who will get the medial position.

    Yes James you are right. But let me explain the solution so that it would be useful for people who needed it. The statement could be arranged as below
    E>D>C>A>B
    and so from this we find C is in the center position.

    Position should be like bellow ...

    E -> D ->C -> B ->A

    so position of C is middel
