In case of winrunner, while installaing a winrunner, v get a installation type screen...

It consist of Standalone Installation, Network Installation,Network Installation and add shortcuts to ur start menu.

can u tel me wat is the purpose of these types. now, which installation is likely using...

This is Vasu from Hyderabad, the thing which u asked is only nothing but type of the installation we want , suppose if we are using our for our pc itself it is standalone only or if we connected to LAN i.e, network where our software can be used by all who are concerned with the application, It is only the type of installation where the choices are given to select them. ok..
