The minimum qualification you require is B.Tech or MBA. It would be good if either you are MCA or MBA in IT management. IF u r B.Tech then it would be more preferable to pursue for MBA course with some experiance. As no software company prefer a fresher for the post of Business Analyst.

Re: I would like to become a Business Analyst

Ms Sarika, I have just completed MBA(fulltime) in IT MGMT and am also a BE(IT). I also have a 1.6 years exp in n/w troubleshooting and impart training in datawarehouse. My MBA projects have given me a good enough knowledge as to what a technical BA does. Plz suggest as to how should I approach for a career in BA.

    Thnx in advance

    Hi Divban,

Financial analysts often examine statistical software outputs to analyze the facts for preparing assessment reports based on to the data gathered.
They may work in the banking, corporate, insurance companies and businesses.

So try lookinto these areas & try to gather informations from Goldman sachs, ANZ like banks financial analyst interview questions.
    All the Best.

    Rijus.

Complete your Certified Business Analyst Professional (CBAP) credentials through an accredited institution. There are a variety of preparatory courses you can use to ready yourself to complete your CBAP. You can find CBAP courses leading to certification through professional organizations like the International Institute of Business Analysis

Re: I would like to become a Business Analyst

Most employers require candidates to have a bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field, but some prefer candidates with a master's degree.

    Step 1: Get a Bachelor's Degree
    Step 2: Gain Work Experience
    Step 3: Get Certified

The BACP (Business Analysis Certified Professional) program at Imarticus is designed for careers in Business Analysis and Project Management across various functions like Technology, Operations and Finance. After completing the comprehensive 8 week part-time program, you will gain an in-depth knowledge of business analysis with special focus on Financial Services.
