Thread: dba or developer

Hi all,
I'm doing final year MCA and will be sitting for RHCE soon. Now I'd like to know that is it must to do a OCP developer before going for DBA? I personally would like to be in administration segment and so I wish to have your views regarding this.

The great combination is
OCA(sql,pl/sql-II exams)+dba III exams
or
OCA(sql,funda1)+ocp

i dont think that ,it is must to do frontend forms for dba people, no use

OCP developer Certification is not mandatory for DBA Certification.
u can go for Oracle Database 10g which consists of 2 papers & its a DBA track.
Or else, Oracle 9i Database DBA track which consists of 4 papers.
