    Re: Complete the Series

    hello shenoy,
see 1st two members of series .. SAJ, KTB...
    1st letter of 2nd member is d successor of 3rd letter of 1st member, i.e.,, K&J.
similarly, 2nd letter is always d sucessor of 1st letter of the previous member.. and 3rd letter is of middle letter.. i.e., T of S and B of A.
    got it?

    Re: Complete the Series

Hey Anchal ur thinking is good... but if u carefully see ur solution wont work for CLU and MVD...
What i'm saying is all ur answers are correct but there is one more set of characters and all ur solution have some break up like Anchal...
BIG CLUE: You have to do some thing with the numerics behind it... for eg: A=1 and Z=26. Find the commonality?? Again i'm saying there is nothing to do with order of characters in each set... i changed the order just to confuse u guyz... Good LUCK

    Thanks
    Manoj

    Re: Complete the Series

i think the answer is "XFO" bcause consider in
s,t,u,v,w 1,2,3,2,3, and "X" has to be in first position
a,b,c,d,e it follows the series in the position 2,3,1,3 and next alpha has to be in "F" in second position
j,k,l,m,n 3,1,2,1,2 the next alphabet "O" is in 3rd position.

    so da ans is "XFO"

Hi, i two got a clues... First clue: ----------------------------------- if we are taking numerical values od each alphabet and than adding tham by each other than the series will look like that: 30,33,36,39,42,45 and so on.. S a j having values : 19,1,10=> sototal will be 30 k t b having values: 11, 20, 2=> so total will be 33 and so on and as manoj was saying that dont think about the orders of alphabet than that doesn't matter that aplhabet is placed at the starting or at the end... I think u are conerntrating on the series value... Another clue: ------------------------------ one more thing which i had pointed out that is: s a j numeric value is: 19 1 10 =1 (this is the sum of the digits 19, 10, 1 which is 1) k t b numeric value is: 11 20 2 =2 (here sum of the digits is 2, see below) c l u numeric value is: 3 12 21 =3 here if we look the series value than we will notice that 19= 1+9= 10=1+0=1 same is we are taking 11= 1+1=2 , 20= 2+0 =2 and is we are taking 12=1+2=3 , 21=2+1= 3 is this right manoj? the series is 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8......
