    3.whether the sound is good

    Re: test cases

    Hi Neeti Sharma,

Whenever you are asked to write test cases for a Radio, a Ball, a Pen, etc., The first thing you must say is- " Sorry, test cases can not be written for such a thing. Ask the interviewer to provide clear and more specifications".

Neeti, you should ask for the properties of the product. You may ask for the Lower and Upper level specification of the product you are going to write test cases for.

You just can't start writing test cases blindly.

I hope the information would help,

    Regards,
    Alankar

    Hi neeti,
I agree with vani.In addition to it we have to write the negative test cases also. Both positive as well as negative will include in testing.
1.check whether it works with out battery/power.
2.check whether Fm channels will come in Am and vice versa
3.check the stability and performance of the radio by putting maximum volume
4.check whether a particular station comes in another frequency.
5.check the tuning by giving different levels etc.

    Re: test cases

you should test first whether the radio is in working condition or not, where you are doing testing , whether the radio station are available or not, mean to see first test for test environment and build(radio), then think about test cases written earlier.
