How to run a Job without using the ISPF?

    hi

I recently attended an interview and had this question in my tech written test.

Also i need one more favor, there is a series of Books for Mainframe under the publisher "Murach's".

Their books are not available in india. You can order them from Amazon or Landmark Book Stores. But they cost 2500/- to 3000/- Rs each. They have around 6-7 books on mainframe(cobol,jcl,db2,cics). I have a copy of the Db2 book.
I would like to have the other books too. Any ebook site you can refer me to where i can download them.

    thanks in advance

You can access REXX without entering into ISPF(TSO <REXX tool name>) , where you may submit a job(JCL) in the REXX prog itself.
