Thread: Remove an application without "uninstall/Remove" option

Hi,

I have installed one application in my system (win xp). It is showed in the "Control Panel -> Add/Remove Programs" but without "change / Remove" option. Now, i want to remove / uninstall that application. Is it possible and how an application can be removed from the system without using remove option.

try free uninstaller programs they give option for selecting and clicking in uninstall .. webattack.com, search for uninstall

second options -- delete the install folder and search for entries in registry to cleanup....

Thanks a lot. Done using the uninstall software from webattack.com. As i am a tester, this site helps me lot to get other softwares also. Thanks for directing me.

goto program file/ application's folder and search for uninstall.exe
double click it application will be uninstalled

download windows uninstaller package from microsoft and install

Run the Setup.exe again by double clicking the file. Select the option of Remove in it.
It doesn't need to use the control panel always. Most of the time you are provided with the uninstall option in the Installed products folder.

Hi, You can remove it , first search the folder, where application is installed (may be: c:\Program file), remove it.
after doing it go to run and type regedit, then click on hkey_local_machine, then go to Software. select your application name and delete it .
By this your Software will remove from harddisk & windows Registry also.

Hi All-

open Run
type regedit Go to HKLM\software\microsoft\windows\currentversion\uninstall
Find the Vender uninstallation Key for particular application and get the value of "Uninstallstring" registry
run the value of "Uninstallstring" registry through Run
the application will get uninstalled
