What is the importace of the Testing in Software over cpmpared to Testing in Non IT field.

i am graduate of non IT background.But i have sound knowledge of software concepts and exposure. I chosen software testing as my Career in IT.Can any one tell the answer i faced in one interviews.
Why you are converting from Non IT field to IT field?This is the question most of candiates facing.Please give an appropriate answer for this,so that it will help for the success.
