An excellent way to learn testing is from your own project done while UG and PG level, try to identify the major funationality sit analyse, start writing test cases excetue the test cases and then analyse the result.. as per my view thisis the best way.

Read this book Software Testing Fundamentals Published by Wiley..

If you have some doubts while learning please post it in the forum, i will help you as much as i can..

Could any one please let me know EFT (Electronic fund transfer)application testing and the procedures which need to follow? what kind of testing has to be performed ?

If your EFT is card based EFT, if it is so then it follows ISO 8583 standards.

card holders transactions include:

1.purchase
2.withdrawal
3.deposit
4.refund
5.reversal
6.balance inquiry
7.payments
8.inter-account transfers.

Please check the listed functionality and security testing should be followed
