    How do I create objects repository in QTP 8.2

    I want to create a objects repository so that multiple tests can use it. How can I do that within QTP 8.2.

    Please provide instruction.

    Hi

    as per my knowledge ,you have select the shared object repository is default ,you can store the all objects properties in that repository . u can execute for all test .

    Open.. Object Repository..

    File -> Export Local Objects

    and save where ever U want and then when ever want to use the same Repository... Use Associate Repository ......

    U can create object repository by using QTP-API in QTP Plus, with using any recording, I hope my answer will help u.

    I hope u need to try the Shared object repository which can be used accross the tests.

    Tools -> options -> Resources -> select shared repository and provide the path.

    U need to select this option before recording itself.
