    What are you trying?

As far as the present knowledge goes, it is a difficult attempt. There are a few options that you must consider before attempting to read the mind. In a group of people, who could be your test subjects, consider them (including ladies) into groups...
1> wearing uniform dress - like formal suit - black/grey/....
2> wearing casual dresses - jeans / shorts / diff coloured / minis

Dressing habits / methods / schedules are different in different countries, not just the Indian context.

In the first situation, its just "not possible" to guage what the person is thinking. The uniformity hides everything that he/she is thinking.

In the second situation, there is a possibility of judging the mind of the person. Here again, the best information that you might get is if the person is cheerful / formal / restrictive kind. I don't think you would be able to get any other info as what the person is thinking or what thoughts are running in his/her mind. Simply because dress doesn't change as fast as the thoughts change.

With this, perhaps the best way is find by using the face-reading / psychological methods / body language which are real-time reflections of the thoughts.

Additionally, different colors of dress means different things in different cultures and in different situations.

hi...according 2 me,1 cannot read a man's mind 4m his dress.. dis is bcoz every1 of us may have diffeent tastes n d way of dressing also differs..some may lyk a dress while others may dnt..some may also pretend themselves as a good person,by dressing in a decent way.. so, its nt gud 2 read a man's mind 4m his attire.. As our forefathers said,APPEARANCES ARE OFTEN DECEPTIVE...

    Hi,

Come to think of it, it is not a simple question at all....
I presume you meant the person's character / attitude more than his mind.

We dress the way we do to project / present ourselves to the society. Which then, is an indication of his mind. Across the world, spritual people have a way of dressing and the same is true of whores too.

You may try wearing any kind of dress and we all do. From boxer shorts to, bremudas, to pyjamas to jeans to trousers to suits and what not. But there is always a dress that you are most comfortable in and that is the one which syncs with your mind.

So, IMHO, the answer is definitely Yes. But, we may not have the tools to read it.

    Cheers!
