    ActiveX Controls and QTP

Just recently we have started recording against an application that uses ActiveX controls. During the initial record and playback there is are problems and we get "Cannot identify Object". We've noticed that nativeclass property value would change every time we would close and open the application.

Joseph07, this simply means you got a dynamic object right there.

You can search on this forum and you will find several threads made on using QTP to deal with dynamic objects.
