If having 5+ years of experience then what is the cause of worry for you. Expect questions on the projects you have undertaken and architecture level.

    Re: Interview for experienced persons

Well I went through the Infosys interview and here is my experience.

I was really expecting some technical questions on C#, .NET. But they didn’t ask even a dot from .NET .

It was a panel of two for the interview.

This is how the interview goes:

Int: Hi, would you like to go through from your resume..
Me: then I gave him my technical introduction, exp, current projects and all that stuff.

Int: Can you tell something about your current project.
    Me: I explained.

Int: Then he asked to explain the product architecture in detail.
Me: I did that using pen and paper.

Then he asked about SDLC, the process in detail as we use in our company.

What are your responsibilities, everything in detail.

Then he gave me a scenario: you are a lead and one of your reportee is not performing as per your expectations, how would you tackle that.

Another scenario: you did some splendid job, but your manager over shadow you. What would you do in that case.

answering those, he was pretty much done with interview and asked me for any questions to him.

After that I was asked to wait for the next HR round.
HR offered me the PA/TL designation and package was even less then what I was getting.

So I asked the HR that I was looking for PM(project manager) role, so he asked me to wait for next round of intv for PM role.

The next round was taken by some senior person, he was really curious to know whether I have worked on this role before and asked me about some other questions like:
    Define project management?
How would you do scheduling in PM, what tools would you use and how would you use it?
    What is CMM?

He was looking for detail theoretical answers for these questions.
One should have studied it or practiced it for a PM role.
