    Re: what is agile methodology?

A framework that promotes development iterations throughout the life-cycle of a project. It minimizes risk by developing software in short amounts of time. Developments accomplished in one unit of time (generally up to four weeks ) is called an iteration. Each iteration is a project with analysis, design, coding, testing and also documentation All the required functionality may not be covered in one iteration for releasing the project. But it will be covered in multiple iterations. The idea is to have a defect free release available at the end of each iteration.

Lack of WILL POWER has caused more failure than
    lack of INTELLIGENCE or ABILITY.

    Re: what is agile methodology?

Agile testing is used whenever customer requirements are changing dynamically

If we have no SRS, BRS but we have test cases does u execute the test cases blindly or do u follow any other process.

Test case would have detail steps of what the application is supposed to do. SO
    1) Functionality of application is known.

    2) In addition you can refer to Backend, is mean look into the Database. To gain more knowledge of the application.

    Re: what is agile methodology?

i got some doubt regarding methodology!!!

here its posted as in agile methodology the development is done in many iterations and each iteration has seperate cycle of coding, testing.
and each iteration is done in short span of time

but in article abt agile development its given as
that development starts with basic requirement and with frequent conversation with end user many functionality are added with the existing coding. where complete coding is done by adding coding to basic model

so there is a contradiction between two. i feel both have different approach can some one clear it .

    Thanks & Regards

Agile Methodology is used when there is rapid changes in product owner i.e.,customer and as being software is developed in short
span of time with high quality.
