If the disk space is insufficient you can any one of the following in order to save:
    - Inform the Client or Administrator to increase the Disk space, as there are new versions of the script to be saved and the older versions also to be maintained.
    - Include the insufficient Memory as one of the Risk in the Test Plan prepared, so that the client will be intimated regarding this and mitigation will be done accordingly.
    - Even though not any of the scripts to be deleted, recheck all the scripts and if any of the same script residing in more than one folder you can remove it after cross checking with the Managers.

Yeah, if you are doing heavy automation, chances are you will run close to allocation of your disc space, especially if you started with less.

One more thing though, have you considered storing your old scripts as Zip files? You can save some space without passing such alerts to your administrators, instead, by just letting them know that you are getting close to your disk space limit, and is there some External station where you can save the old scripts, or have more space to use?

I would also strongly consider all the recommendations given by sridharrganesan.
