QTP If condition not working Properly

Hi, this is my code if instr(1,b,a,1) >= 1 and j > o then o = j v = 1 else j = j +1 end if in this code after finishing my if condition o=j and v=1 has to be assigned. But first line (o=j) only assigned second line not taken. I tried so may conditions not for this only all if statements are taking first line only. Anybody help me to solve this. Thx punitha

Could you please align the code properly? Its hard to understand it the way you have described.

    Ex:

    If YesNo=1 Then
    ' some action
    else
    ' some action
    End If
