SCD Mappings mostly used Unconnected Lookup Transformation. Unconnected Lookup used static cache only, at this time how can we insert or update the records in target.

Yes, we can insert and update data at this situation.
Reason because that when we use static cache every time it will create a cache file by querying the lookup table and compares the data from cache file with the source data. so after the session completes that cache file will going to vanish............
Yes, we can insert and update data in TGT.
But the PowerCenter Server does not update the cache while it processes the transformation.
It uses the data avail in static cache, it can't be updated while running the session. So it won't show any affect for the newly inserted row.
