What is the difference between Windows XP and Windows 2000?
They are different operating systems from microsoft.
XP is higher version than 2000.
the latest OS from microsoft is Windows Vista.
windows 2000 is a bussiness oriented os.it is also called as a hybrid kernal os
windows xp is a successor of windows 2000 but it is a genreal purpose os has everything.....

Xp has inbuild firewall, Remote desktop connection, ie6, more graphics
switching between users\system Restore\files and settings and transfer wizard
The operating system which supports dual monitor

WindowsXP support remote desktop connection,inbuilt firewall,system restore specility
windows2000 donot support remote desktop,not having inbuilt firewall, dont take restore
