If the interviewer questions as what is the level of confidence a person poses for handling the job will the answer of just giving high would suffice or in what ways this question could be approached.

There is no seperate test or level for checking the confidence level. In fact the question itself is asked to check the way or approach the person uses to answer the question which reflects their confidence level. So one must answer the question with much confidence and strength so that the interviewer can get the feel of the good confidemce level of the person.
