Hi,
i have attended CTS recruitments on 18th & 19th of dec. around 700 students appeared and 330 students cleared the aptitude exam on 18th. on 19th PI's were conducted and 196 students got selected finally. i was very fortunate to be there in the final list.

Aptitude exam:
it consists of 3 sections
1. quantitave analysis (25 bits)
2. verbal ability (25 bits)
3. reasoning (20 bits)

total 70 bits and time given was 70min. there was no negative marking.
Reasoning was the EASIEST part, if we concentrate 100% marks can be obtained.
in verbal, ther were 2 passages which were really not easy & time taking, i could hardly attempt 10 bits in the given time.
2 passages (10 bits)
sentence correction (5 bits)
arranging 5 statements in order to form a meaningful passage (5 bits)

Quant purely depends on practice, it was time taking,
2 puzzles(10 bits) were given (i got only 1 correct). the rest of the bits were from time&dist, probability and etc.....

there is no sectional cutoff, so u can score in the last section.

HR interview:
it took place for 20min, few people were asked even technical questions.
1. educational history
1. tell me about yourself
2. why do u want job in CTS
3. decribe me your group (ECE) in 1min (what we study and why we study was what he wanted to know)
4. u look more excited than nervous, Y? ( i think he was impressed for my ans here)
5. can you do same work monotonously? ( i said no, he asked to explain)
6. definitions of resistor and capacitor
7. he gave a situation like your boss doesn't like you.................
8. he continued that situation and asked me what if i don't like my boss......
9. any questions ( i asked 2)

it was more like a discussion rather than PI, he said it was nice talking to me and complemented my smile.
he asked me to say something in the end, i said "today is my b'day sir" ( it really was), he laughed out and wished me.

i told him that i wanna be respected like him and he said that i deserve all the respect for what iam.
