Instead of getting trained in any of the institutes it is better to learn QTP your self by reading any of the book in QTP. To start off try to learn QTP first by recording and playback and then by start to write the descriptive programming.

Hi Jyothi,

Since you question states that you wish to learn Advance QTP, I guess you should be kinda familiar with Basic concepts of QTP.

So as Sridhar has suggested, instead of looking for a training center you would really learn the actual use of Descriptive Programming incase you try it out yourselves.

It would give you an actual understanding as to how you could actually work without the OR, how to create Name:Value Pairs, adding Object Description as a String etc.

Refer to QTP User Guide which would give you a basic insight into how Descriptive Programming actually works. Also check out the below link for reference purpose. For all your queries while learning, Geek members are always there to help

By stating "Basic concepts of Manual Testing", do you wish to know more about Testing Techinques or Testing Types like Black Box techniques, White Box techniques ?

Incase you are referring to Manual Testing process as a whole - It would entail the Testing Life Cycle as such starting right from -

1) Previewing SRS, FRS.
2) Preparing Usecases / Test Scenarios based on FRS.
3) Designing Testcases by breaking down Test Scenarios.
4) Test Planning - including Estimation, scheduling, Risk Management, Testing Approach.
5) Test Execution.
6) Defect Logging and Tracking.

Each of the above listed would be a detailed topic in itself. Please let me know if you wish to know about something specific and shall be more than happy to answer..

hi joythi there is one institute in koramangala and jaynagar called dhs, teaches software testing and provides excellent projects this is the best one i found.. Rather than going for a name .. Go for the quality of the course.. They are experts in manual in testing with a very good domains like share market , insurance......
