Doubt in PHP

I happened to hear about Source Guardian 6.0, a term in PHP. What is this actually? Is this a new component added to PHP. If so what is its usage and give some details on this.

Source Guardian 6.0 for PHP is a protection solution for encoding and protecting PHP scripts. It provides security features added for PHP scripts written which helps developers have rights secured for their PHP scripts.
