hi all,
can any one tell how to test a local webaplication by using rational robot?

question for you ? what is your expected out come from the test ?
Is that response time keeping performance in mind or GUI testing

if GUI : then install robot and start recording GUI script using Robot and use it with Test Manager .
you can also use Robot independently as the latest version support stand alone too

for performance : use VU script recording . for this you have to use Test Manager.
