Descriptive programming is one which you enhance the recorded script by adding additional statements, removing unwanted script lines. And add more logical flow and make use of user defined functions, sub procedures...etc.
Its also useful in writing the script independent of object repository. I mean with out recording the objects. You take the object reference and write a code. By giving reference of basic properties for the object to identify. Coming to vbscripting its a common scripting language which is used to write the functions and logic inside the script for enhancement. Vbscript just helps in adding the code to your script according based on your needs. For Eg: Writing Functions, Sub Procedures..etc. Arun* Last edited by smartarun : 07-17-2007 at 10:10 AM. |
