functionality tsting: it checks principle of working,and all the functions of the application functionality testing tools r winrunner,qtp
performance testing: how fast the application is opening ,whether the application can ith stand the load , tools used r load runner,qtp upto some extnt

01. Winrunner (from mercury),
02. Quick test professional (from mercury),
03. Silk test (from seague)
04. Rational robot (from rational)

some load testing tools:
01. Load runner (from mercury),
02. Silk performer (from seague)
03. Rational performance tester (from rational)
04. Wapt (web application test, from Softlogica)

some test management tools:
01. Test Director (from Mercury)
02. Quality center (from Mercury)
03. Test Manager (from Rational)
04. Bugzilla Test Runner
05. Salome-TMF
06. RTH (Open sourse)

And, many more tools are there.

I think the news is now old enough that Mercury Interactive is takenover by HP.

Hi,

Can I have names of Testing tools which runs on Windows platform but, could recognize applications (AUT) being developed using Unix/Linux calls. The AUT has used Unix/Linux sustem calls /APIs but running on Windows via X windows.
