Question Recovery Scenario

What is recovery scenario in WinRunner and QTP?

Where and How to create recovery scenario in WinRunner and QTP?

Please explain.

In recovery scenario, we can define how to recover from unexpected events and errors during a run session of an application.

Here we define 3 things,
1) What unexpected event or error you want to recover from,
2) What to do to recover from the event or error, and
3) What to do or how / where to continue the test after recovering.

This process is called exception handling, and that’s the name in WinRunner while in QTP it is called Recovery Scenario.

Manual TestScripts

As far as I know, there is nothing like manual test script. There could be automation test scripts but not manual test scripts....

Test cases when automated makes Test Scripts.

Re: Recovery Scenario

Manually test case and its steps are wtitten, not the test script. When you automate a test case, the test tool generates a script (in WinRunner TSL script and in QTP VB Script). This script is called Test Script.
