I just start working with the QTP. So, would like to ask you all as you are expert to use this tool. What is the best book to learn VB script for developping recording script? something what will help me to learn VB script very fast and easy.

as far as i know Jscript or Java Script is not supported by QTP.
are you using a call from QTP to js files?

its better if you dont use any book for VBscripting, i personnelly feel that the help provided by the "Mercury interactive" in the QTP tool is self explainatory..
if you go for any books, there are chances that you might get confused.. so stick on to QTP help, wherever you go, the help topic remains the same..

If you had known MS Visual Basic 6.0 then you need not have to learn VBScript. If you don’t then I strongly agree with 'sksanath'.

In QTP you just have to have a bit of knowledge of VB Scripting

Other than that the Help file of QTP is excellent. So you can get solution to any query

Thanks for your information and i want to know, How can we use Jscripts/JavaScripts in QTP? if possible drop a example code.
presently in my project i've develoepd a number of scripts using VBScript only.So, your reply will be very helpful to me to migrate/ develop new scripts using Jscripts/JavaScripts.
