not able to recognize a custom object

    Question asked by visitor sunil

I am not able to recognize a custom object which is a "Browse..." button on web application. Following details are recognized by GUI map editor:
    class: object,
    MSW_class: html_file,
    html_name: policy_dump_file

How can i make WR recognize this object in my script and click on this "Browse " button ?

    Use "virtual objects" feature.

Lack of WILL POWER has caused more failure than
    lack of INTELLIGENCE or ABILITY.

When winRunner does not recognize the custom object then you have to tell about this to winrunner by adding the description of the object in object repository using virtual object wizard.
