Thread: Game Testing

Hi friends....
I m new to testing .. need sme information regarding game testing. is it same like normal functional testing we do or smething diff we shd knw about it. i may hv to face an interview ... so plz advice me wat shd i prepare ...and wht shd i knw ...

First we have to write test cases for gaming
1. Open the game...the game application should be opened
2. rules of the game...If u r new to the game, it will explain the rules of the game
3. Start the game...game will be started and continous feed back will be provided
4. Pause the game...to recive a call or to do other operations....we have to check wheather game is Paused or not
5. Resume the game....we have to resume it and...it should provide some feedback
6.Quit the game....when u quit the game it should give some suggestions or score or Win/lost/ R u sure u want to quit the game...like stuff
7.close the games application...It should provide some feedback when u r closing the gaming section completely

Test the applicaion based on the BRS and SRS
dont worry , Testing is same for all ,How to proceed Testing on application is depends on the client requirement.
Before going interview better to gather few famous games information.
