    Defect ID....

    Is it possible to include defects (defect id ,description,etc....) from excel sheet to a specified project in the Test director?

    Yes you can include new defect from an Excel to Test Director or Quality Center either manually by copy and paste or using Addin tool which will export from excel to Test Director

    Hi,
    we can add defects in the defects module directly or we can export all the defects from excel sheet to Qc if we have excel addin.But the Defect ID can't be uploaded from excel as defect id gets incremented each time when a new defect is added.Even we can't ignore this.Even we can't make the defect ID number as we wish...it just gets the next continuation number of existed defects...if you have any doubts then you can ping me...

    Microsoft Excel Add-in
    Enables you to export your existing test documents, requirements, or defects in Microsoft Excel directly to TestDirector
