    Hi...
In order to prepare for scjp, just be gud in the fundamentals...
Then read Khalid Mughal and Kathysierra material...Try some tricky questions..
After everytopic u read, take a test...may be so many online links will be there for u to take up them...then at last try Whizlabs simulator..
Once u have scored well and gud in everythng...giv a shot..

K&b and km are two different books.

Scjp sun certified programmer for java 5 study guide (exam 310-055) (certification press study guides) by kathy sierra and bert bates

A programmer's guide to java certification: a comprehesive primer, second edition by khlaid mughal and rolf rasmussen.

    For whizlabs, http://www.whizlabs.com/

also, go to http://faq.javaranch.com/view?scjpmocktests for some mock tests.

    Some good tips: http://www.javaranch.com/maha/prepar...tion_tips.html

    all the best!
