there are a few number of segments. i want to modify all the segments, for which i am having to modify the JCL or to have same number of JCLs as the segments...
can any one suggest me the way to have only one jCL and make changes to all segment... (PLZ.. suggest me a way which doesnot involve PROCs)

There are two ways. First, merge all the jcl into a single member.
Second, you can use INCLUDE members from a JCLLIB. This is along the same lines as a proc, but since you controld the JCLLIB, you can change the members any time you like.
