    Hi All

    I am a new bee.. Can any one tell me whats DBMS and RDBMS?
    Whats the difference between these two.

    Dbms stands for data base management system and dbms are database systems like vsam, ims. There are various types of dbms like the hierarchical database, the network database. Rdbms stands for relational data base management system and rdbms are databases like db2, oracle

    These are the main differences between DBMS and RDBMS. Explaining further on this will take a lengthy topic. But for you to know about this if you go to search engines you have lot of articles on this.
