    Explain the Difference

Is there any difference between nroff and troff in UNIX? I think they are used for typesetting text. Is there any other usage of these commands in UNIX?

    Re: Explain the Difference

The commands nroff and troff are used for formatting text files. One of the difference that I am aware of is nroff is designed to format output display on screen as well as for line printers and letter-quality printers. troff is designed for typesetting and laser printers.
