    Angry WinRunner to QTP migration

    I have a 2-tier architecture in WinRunner.Now i m migrating into QTP.
Can any one help me as how effective is descriptive programming over managing the object repository using QTP?

    Thanks.

Descriptive pregramming is extremely beneficial when working with QTP. Use can identify objects just with the codes without adding them into the OR.

This also helps when you are working with some objects which have the same name or description (property). You will have this kinds of scenarios when working with line items on Oracle ERP. You can just identify the object with the Unique property which otherwise will not be recognized when working with just OR
